Important points / tips
- Make sure your Aadhaar details (especially date of birth, mobile number) are correct and updated. Mistakes lead to rejections.
- Your bank account must be linked to Aadhaar and DBT enabled so payments can be made.
- If you are applying via offline mode, keep the acknowledgement slip or reference number.
- You should submit before the deadline for the financial year. For example the 2024‑25 window had a deadline of 31 March 2025.
- Keep proof of documents handy (photocopies/scanned copies) and ensure uploads are clear.
- If you don’t qualify through NFSA/SFSS but your income is under threshold, you may still apply (with income certificate).
- One recent update: The government clarified that all eligible women members of a family will receive the benefit (i.e., not restricted to only one per family) — check latest guidelines.
Next step: What you should do
- Check whether your age, residence, income, vehicle/land ownership meet the eligibility criteria (as above).
- Ensure you have the required documents ready (Aadhaar, bank details, income certificate if needed).
- Decide whether you will apply online or offline. If no internet access, go to nearest Mo Seba Kendra / CSC.
- Visit the portal
subhadra.odisha.gov.in(or the official site of the Women & Child Development Department Odisha) and look for the “Apply” link. - Fill the form carefully. Double‑check bank account number, Aadhaar number, mobile number. Mistakes can cause rejection or delay.
- After submission, monitor your application status. If you get selected, you’ll receive the instalments as per schedule (typically around Raksha Bandhan and Women’s Day).
- If you face any difficulty, use the helpline/toll‑free number (for example, 14678) for assistance.

Any woman found receiving ₹18,000 or more in these years will be excluded as per new rules.
Last Date of Application

Eligibility Criteria for Subhadra Yojana Online applications
Before applying online, women must read and follow the eligibility rules given below:
- Applicant must be a permanent woman resident of Odisha.
- Age should be between 21 and 60 years.
- Women already getting ₹18,000 or more yearly from scholarships or other government schemes will not be eligible.
- Those having vehicles, more than 5 acres of land, or who have filed income tax returns may not qualify under this phase.
Who Cannot Apply under Subhadra Yojana
To make sure the help goes to the right people, the government has set some restrictions. Women who already get more than ₹18,000 in a year through scholarships or similar schemes (state or central) are not allowed to apply again. This helps stop duplication and keeps the support focused on women who really need it.
Helpline
You can submit your grievance online on the Subhadra Portal itself or contact at official helpline number 14678 for any issues related to online application process or anything in general about the scheme.
